In my years of doing facial, how have I not discovered the power of gua sha for facial till today after doing my maiden gua sha facial at @chrysalismediaesthetic
Using a guasha board which is made of water buffalo horn to stroke the face gently to simulate the lymph nodes and facial muscle, the results are quite instantaneous as I compare the side with gua sha done vs not done, there is more V-shaped for sure.The facial treatment also include cleansing and extraction before the actual treatment and ending with a soothing mask!
Besides improving blood circulation, this treatment also helps to uplift sagging skin to make the skin firmer, reduce fine lines and wrinkles for an overall youthful look.
For the eyes, my therapist used Bo Jin which is a jade instrument to promote ‘Qi’ flow in the face meridian channels. This is great for dark circles , eye puffiness and overall revitalises my tired eyes! You can see my glow and my sparkling eyes at the end of the reel.
