Chrysalis Spa Pte Ltd shall be referred to “Chrysalis” in the terms and conditions below. The client is deemed to have read, understood and accepted the following Terms and Conditions.1.0 Goods & Service Policy
Chrysalis is fully committed to deliver consistent quality products and services,
meeting contractual requirement and clients’ satisfaction in cost and service of work.2.0 Terms & Conditions of Sales
2.1 Bookings & Payments
A booking of service contract is made upon payment of the deposit amount of at
least 20% or service package. The deposit forms part of the final payment. Balance
payment is to be paid to Chrysalis upon completion of 1st treatment.
2.2 Cancellations of Service Packages
2.2.1 Cancellation of bookings from customers must be made in writing and received by Chrysalis. Deposits shall be refunded in full should the transaction be cancelled within 5 working days from date of purchase of service package. Otherwise, there shall be no full refund of the deposit paid. All deposits are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
2.2.2 Then the client shall have the option to (1) replace the package with an equivalent value and the deposit shall be used as deposit for the (2) collect the products (if any) prepared and intended for use in the initial treatment of the service new package, or package purchased. The cancellation fee stated below shall apply:

Deposit (less consumed services at the promotional rate) shall be refunded
06 working days or more (service package has not commenced)
25% administration fee will be levied
Deposit (after less 25% of admin fee) shall be refunded should the transaction be cancelled after 5 working days from date of purchase of service package
06 working days or more (service package has commenced)
50% of the un-utilized portion of the full package (of multiple sessions) shall be imposed to cover cancellation and administration costs.
Deposit (after less 50% of admin fee * consumed services) shall be refunded should the transaction be cancelled 5 working days from date of purchase of service package.
2.2.3 For any trial package (of single session), payment has to be made before the treatment is carried out.
2.2.4 In the event of a cancellation (after the first 5-day period from date of purchase) before commencement of a treatment under the full package (of multiple sessions), a 25% fee based on total service package fee shall be imposed to cover cancellation and administration. Alternatively, prepaid package can be transferred to another customer by writing /email to email@example.com
2.2.5 For client whose service package has commenced after the 5 day cooling off period, 50% of the un-utilized portion of the full package (of multiple sessions) shall be imposed to cover cancellation and administration (the refund amount will be derived by deducting the original price of the treatments consumed plus the value of the free gifts and/or free products, and not the ‘special promotion price’). Alternatively, prepaid package can be transferred to another customer by writing /email to firstname.lastname@example.org
2.3 Service Fee Inclusion
The service fee includes all services as stipulated in the price list and communication materials with customers
2.4 Service Fee Exclusion
The service fee excludes any additional charges for extra services such as product upgrade request not included in the original package, e.g. Ampoule. These are stated clearly in the price list.
2.5 Exchange and Refund Policy
2.5.1 Product Returns and Exchange Procedure:
- a) All requests to be email to email@example.com
- b) Purchased products intended for return or exchange must be in their original packaging un-opened (unused) accompanied by the Return and Exchange Form.
- c) Requests for Returns and Exchanges must be made within 5 working days after purchase. Otherwise, there shall be no refund and/or exchange.
Chrysalis accepts return for any un-opened and unused products and will make an exchange of products of similar value immediately upon receipt of goods within 5 working days from the purchase date.

Refund for payment made by credit cards
For payment made by credit cards, all refunds once approved by the company will be made through the credit card approximately between 4 to 6 weeks or approximately 2 months during peak period. For payment made by AMEX Credit Card and/or Diners Card, a bank admin fee of 4% is chargeable, and shall be borne by the customer.
2.6 Warranties and Service Guarantees
2.6.1 We warranty our services according to the plan Customers signed up. At the end of every treatment, Customers endorse satisfaction with the treatment performed.
2.6.2 As part of the service guarantees, Chrysalis accords a cooling-off period of 5 working days (Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays) from date of purchase to allow customers to seek full refund if they do not wish to proceed with the service packages offered, or wish to return the unopened products.
2.6.3 To demonstrate our commitment to our valued customers, Chrysalis has in place a Spa, Beauty and Wellness Warranty Insurance Plan to insure our customers who purchase pre-paid packages. The purpose of this insurance plan is to compensate customer in cash/cheque in the event of insolvency, compulsory liquidation or bankruptcy. A certificate of Insurance coverage (valid for 30 days) shall be handed to the customer upon signing of the Pre-paid Service Package Contract.
2.7 Chrysalis’ Special Promotional Packages
The following terms and conditions shall apply to Chrysalis Promotional Packages
2.7.1 Services that can be deducted from Chrysalis Promotional Packages based on Ala-Carte Prices – Facial Treatment service – Body Treatment service.
2.7.2 Following items cannot be deducted from Chrysalis Promotional Packages :
- All products purchase
- All promotion items
- All service charges
- Top up service
2.7.3 All services are valid for 2 years from the date of purchase. The certificate of insurance coverage will be renewed for the customer at the end of the 1st year
2.7.4 Clients are not compelled to purchase any treatment products. Clients should consider their own needs and decide accordingly.
2.7.5 Clients shall check that the purchase shown on the receipt tally with the purchase made before leaving.
2.7.6 For cancellation of promotional packages, see item 2.2
2.7.7 The Company reserves the right to substitute the Gift with another item of equivalent values.
2.7.8 Clients are required to inform the Company one (1) day in advance of any changes in their appointment schedule. Weekend bookings are chock-a-block, so any cancellation short of one (1) day notice will be charged a 50% (of treatment value at our spa a la carte rate) of cancellation fee or a session to be deducted from your package (of multiple sessions)
2.7.9 “NO SHOW” (during weekends) with no prior notice given will incur full charges (of treatment value at our spa a la carte rate) of cancellation fee or a minimum of two (2) sessions to be deducted from your package (of multiple sessions)
2.8 Chrysalis Spa reserves the rights to assign any suitable staff to service our customers.
2.9 Chrysalis Spa accept customers’ declaration of health, skin condition, allergies, etc to be true at the point of declaration. We will not be held responsible for unforeseen reactions to a treatment caused by Customers’ withholding of information with regards to the above-mentioned conditions that led to the inaccurate assessment and recommendation of treatments.
3.0 Redemption of sales voucher
3.1 Clients are advised to take note of discounted prices for selected service packages (in the form of acceptance of sales vouchers) printed in service brochures.
3.2 Sales vouchers are only valid during validity period of the promotion / sales vouchers printed on the voucher / communication materials.
3.3 Clients are advised to present sales voucher prior to signing the sales contract.
4.0 Sales Tactics
4.1 Chrysalis’ Therapists / Beauticians shall not engage in any unethical sales tactics to mislead customers / or to pressure sell products to customers during treatments.
4.2 Clients are encouraged to report any unethical incidence to the Manager / Supervisor / Head Quarter immediately.
5.0 Pricing & Payment
5.1.1 The client shall pay the exact amount of the service and product charges (including deposits, if any as specified in the invoice overleaf).
5.1.2 Payments are collected in Singapore Dollars. Types of payment accepted include cash, NETS, credit cards and cheques. VISA / Master / AMEX / Diners Card Stickers are prominently displayed in all outlets / point of sale.
5.1.3 Receipts (see overleaf) will be issued to acknowledge deposits / down payments and all payments.
5.2 Pricing of Goods & Services
5.2.1 Chrysalis is committed to avoid over or under-charging and to ensure correct change is given, customer is advised to verify the following prior to signing sales contract.
- Price tags on products / Price for service packages as indicated on Tax Invoice
- Prices quoted reflects the total amount payable inclusive of GST
- Promotional prices are clearly displayed in promotional service brochures
- Additional Charges for extra services are clearly stated.
- All prices quoted for treatments and spa packages are inclusive of taxes, and any other surcharges (if any). All items and services listed clearly in each service package, reflected in communication materials to customers.
- Chrysalis honours the prices quoted at the same time of booking for treatments and spa packages and other related services. Clients will not be subjected to sudden change of prices.

7.0 Complaint & Claims
7.1 Any complaints or claims shall be submitted in writing within 3 working days from the date of consumption of service, for Chrysalis’ investigation. No responsibility is accepted in respect of any complaints and / or claims not so made.
7.2 The client shall indemnify Chrysalis from all injuries or damages sustained in the course of the treatment, and which are due to acts beyond the control of Chrysalis. Chrysalis shall bear the medical cost that the client may incur for the medical consultation and treatment of injuries arising solely from the mishandling of equipment, or the administration of unsuitable products during the beauty treatment process.
7.3 Upon a report of any injury or adverse health been received, Chrysalis shall at the same time offered the opportunity to refer the client to a clinic of Chrysalis’s choice within 7 working days for an examination report to be made. The client shall also give to Chrysalis a copy of any medical report she has earlier obtained. Client shall not go for any legal action if there’s no medical report or oral testimony of Chrysalis’ panel of doctors.
7.4 Should Chrysalis be unable to resolve any issues within 21 days, CASE mediation centre will be referred to as an alternative form of redress available to customers.
8.0 Confidentiality of Information
8.1 We treat all transactions and customer’s particulars with strictest confidence.
8.2 Customers’ data are collected solely for completing transactions and providing services and will not be used for any other purposes.
8.3 Permission shall be obtained from the customers should their personal data be required for purposes other than internal marketing and billing.
9.0 Relocation of outlet
9.1 In the event of any relocation of outlet, existing customers of the relocated outlet will be automatically transferred to another outlet of their choice, within Chrysalis’ network of outlets.
- Variation of Conditions
These terms and conditions shall not be amended or varied except by written agreement between the client and Chrysalis.
