@lowcarb_keto_fooddiary - Moxalift 4-in-1 Back Detox
Back to @Chrysalismediaesthetic for my monthly treatment, and I chose Moxalift 4-in-1 Back Detox since my shoulders are acting up recently. Electrical sensations can be felt on my left shoulder occasionally, and my right arm has limited range of motion currently as there will be pain on the joint. I was told that this treatment has the combined benefits of Guasha, Cupping, Acupuncture and Tuina. It helps to loosen tension and muscle knots by using suction technology to decompress muscles and connective tissues. By doing so, it promotes blood flow and enhances blood circulation. This treatment follows the flow of the meridian channels and targets acupoints just like tuina and acupuncture. Stimulating the flow of qi and unclogging the toxins while the sweeping motion across the meridian channels helps with the lymphatic drainage and reduces water retention.
A 30 mins session started off with manual massage to relieve tension and loosen tight muscles, with more focus on my trapezius muscles. This was followed by the use of a machine, a bit of warmth and tingling sensation since I was put on the highest setting but was bearable. The treatment ended with long firm strokes on my upper back, and I was advised to drink lots of water to flush out the toxins.
My shoulders felt so relaxed as well as reduced in muscle tension. I could lift up my right arm higher than it normally could. I also had an uninterrupted sleep that night without tossing on my bed.
